Apps on my iPad

One of my favorite things to do (wow, you’re going to think I’m quite lame after I say this) is to look at the home screens of other educators iPads. See, I told you, that is pretty lame. But wait let me explain.

Looking at the app icons on the home screen give me a view into how teachers are using their iPad as a tool for teaching and learning. Without passing judgement on anyone, I always find it delightful to see app icons I’ve never heard of or thought to use. In addition, as a tech coach, viewing other teachers home screens gives me a snapshot of a teachers creative use (or lack thereof) of the iPad in regards to teaching and learning. Again, without passing judgement, this helps me develop my own creative ideas for using the iPad and a path to walk down with this teacher as we develop their use of the iPad for teaching and learning.

So, without further a due, here is a peak at my home screens (not to sound dirty)- here is a list of my most frequently used apps.
